Doug Fraser wrote in #note-2:
assess nautobot system, integration points, and implementation
Success criteria-
Identification and simulation (through software testing) agains the API - complete
Identification and implementation ability to ensure security and API tokens can be configured with the ORE- Complete
Identification of the key data fields of the Nautobot required for integration- Complete
Actions for Government
Provide API end point for the NDP core node Nautobot for ORE integration
Updated by Jacob Halle over 2 years ago
This COTS product (Netbox) was identified as a solution that will be established in the NDP Core Node. Awaiting API end points Government plans on synchronizing to the ORE as depicted in attachment with screen shot.

This proof of concept has not received the green light from the government as part of the 6 planned for Task Order #1. So, how can it be 80% complete?

Please click to review * File 2_Twelve_API_endpoint_Information_Request_ORE_21oct2022.pdf* in thread above for technical progress question. All the technical details and actual implementations are in the attachment with graphical screen shots of the application deployed as part of the ORE on Triton Platform for future integration with the NDP core node. Note this service/application was discussed in detail during the TEM as being a critical software service that is on the NDP BOM for deployment in the co location and on NDP reference architecture briefed. This task was discussed in September 2022 during the Engineering TEM in Charleston led by PEO APEO-E and all the APM-E's and LE's in attendance during the ORE brief . The take away was the ORE shall be able to integrate with this product (Nautobot) and consume critical data endpoints from the API for archival.
2 Twelve did not independently select product above for simulation. In October 24th the Government Mr. Escobar provided an email for the organizational structure for who had authority in the Government for approval of future simulations.
Tom- Lets discuss the entrance criteria required from both 2 Twelve and Government prior to any future simulation.
Updated by Jacob Halle about 2 years ago
2 Twelve has successfully implemented Netbox on Triton platform. 2 Twelve has identified the key API contsrtucts and data formats available for integration in the ORE. 2 Twelve needs government to provide their provisioned instance of Nautobot.

What are these tasks?
Regarding Task 105: Have we clarified what is required?
Updated by Jacob Halle almost 2 years ago
The team simulated the open source version of Nautobot and met all the requirements of this task through that simulation (See the attached pdf and previous comments). The government has not yet provided their provisioned instance of Nautobot, which is why this is still at 80%.

- Status changed from In Progress to Closed
- % Done changed from 80 to 100
All the requirements for this task have been completed through the successful simulation of the open source version of Nautobot integrated to government specifications.
Additional Note: Nautobot will replace the current IPAM solution used at navy sites. This project is spearheaded by the SANDE team. The nautobot solution is still under development by SANDE and so is not available to be integrated. However, since Nautobot is based on the upstream and opensource NetBox solution, NetBox was then deployed in our Lab environment and 2 Twelve staff evaluated it and produced a report about its capabilities.
